Standard Care vs Master Care
iBidan offers different care levels so mothers can choose based on their needs and budget.
Standard Care is suitable for mothers who want essential postnatal massage, body relaxation, traditional care support and home-service convenience.
Master Care is preferred by mothers who want a more advanced care focus. It includes additional focus such as:
✅ Support for abdominal muscle recovery and diastasis recti care
✅ Yinpayu Lactation Massage
✅ More structured postnatal recovery support
Both Standard Care and Master Care include ABE products. The exact products included depend on the selected package. Therefore, the main differences lie in the care focus and advanced care arrangement.
How Many Sessions Should Mothers Choose?
Our massages are suitable for all delivery types. The only difference is the timing to start. Many mothers choose between shorter and longer packages depending on how much support they need. Some mothers prefer a short package for basic recovery support, while others choose longer packages for more comprehensive care during confinement.
Common package choices may include:
✅ 3-Day Postnatal Standard Care package
Suitable for mothers who would like essential postnatal massage, relaxation, and initial recovery support. Mothers who prefer a more complete focus may choose the 3-Day Postnatal Master Care package instead.
✅ 7-Day Postnatal Standard Care package
Suitable for mothers who would like more consistent postnatal care with additional recovery-focused support, or the 7-Day Postnatal Master Care package for a more advanced care structure.
✅ 10-Day Postnatal Standard Care package
Suitable for mothers who would like more consistent care, including abdominal, body comfort, and shaping-focused support, or the 10-Day Master Postnatal Care package for additional Master Care techniques.
✅ 14-Day Postnatal Standard Care package
Suitable for mothers who prefer extended confinement care throughout the main recovery period, or the 14-Day Postnatal Master Care package for the most complete two-week care structure.
✅ 100-Day Postnatal Recovery Management Program
Our most comprehensive package, suitable for mothers who would like ongoing postnatal recovery management throughout the first 100 days, with continuous guidance from a Grand Master to support their recovery journey.
The best package depends on the mother’s condition and expectations. A mother who had a difficult delivery, body pain, breastfeeding discomfort, C-section recovery or lack of rest may need a different care arrangement compared to a mother who feels physically stable after delivery.
What Is ABE and iBidan Signature Kit?
ABE stands for Active BioEnergy. It is part of iBidan’s tech-enhanced care approach, used together with selected postnatal care products and bidan hands-on techniques. ABE products in the Signature Kit are based on the customer’s selected package. Different packages may receive different Signature Kit arrangements, such as 7-Day, 10-Day, 14-Day or 100-Day care support.
The Signature Kit is usually delivered to the customer’s home before the treatment starts. This allows the assigned Bidan to use the prepared products consistently during the care sessions.
ABE product support is designed to support warmth, relaxation, comfort and a more consistent postnatal care experience. It is not a medical treatment and does not replace doctor’s advice.
Prenatal Massage in Malaysia
Some mothers also look for prenatal massage during pregnancy, including prenatal massage in Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Johor Bahru.
At iBidan, prenatal massage is only recommended from 20 weeks onward and when the pregnancy is stable. The purpose is to help mothers feel more comfortable during pregnancy by supporting body relaxation and easing common body discomforts such as back tension, leg tiredness, body heaviness and general muscle discomfort.
iBidan offers a range of prenatal care packages, including the 1x Prenatal Care package, 3x Prenatal Care package, 1-Day Prenatal Relaxation & Perineal Support package and 3x Prenatal Relaxation & Perineal Support package.
Prenatal massage should be gentle and should not be treated like normal body massage. Mothers with high-risk pregnancy, bleeding, contractions, placenta concerns, high blood pressure or any medical concern should get doctor’s advice before booking.
What Should Mothers Prepare Before a Home-Service Bidan Session?
For a smoother home-service experience, mothers can prepare a simple and comfortable space at home.
You may prepare:
✅ A clean mattress or bed and suitable massage area
✅ A well-ventilated room
✅ Drinking water nearby
✅ Comfortable room temperature
✅ Loose clothing
✅ Baby arrangement during the session
✅ Any doctor’s advice or delivery-related concern to inform the bidan
If the mother has C-section stitches, swelling, pain or any discomfort, she should inform the bidan before the session begins.
Good communication helps the bidan adjust the care according to the mother’s needs.
Is Home-Service Postnatal Care Worth It?
Many mothers choose home-service postnatal care because it is more convenient during confinement.
After delivery, mothers may feel tired, weak, emotional or physically uncomfortable. Travelling out for massage may not be easy, especially when caring for a newborn.
Home-service care allows mothers to receive support at home without needing to travel.
For many families, this helps reduce stress because the mother can rest in her own space, prepare for the session more easily, and continue caring for the baby before or after the session.
However, mothers should still choose carefully. A good home-service provider should offer clear information, proper communication, trained bidans and realistic expectations.

Whether you’re looking for essential postnatal care or a longer-term recovery programme with ongoing guidance, our customer service team can help you choose the option that best suits your delivery type, recovery needs, and personal preferences.

5. Can I upgrade my package later?
Yes, package upgrade is possible by paying the price difference, depending on package availability, bidan schedule and arrangement.
