iBidan Holds Strategic Discussion with WBS and YB Puan Anfaal Saari on Women Care Workforce

iBidan was honoured to have a strategic discussion with YB Puan Anfaal Binti Saari, Selangor State Executive Councillor for Women’s Development and Community Welfare, together with the Wanita Berdaya Selangor (WBS) team.

The session provided a meaningful opportunity for iBidan to share our platform journey, Bidan workforce data, market demand insights, income outcomes and the potential to further activate experienced women care professionals who are already available within the community.

During the discussion, iBidan shared how the Women Care Workforce model can help connect women’s care skills with structured training, real service opportunities and income generation.

The discussion also highlighted an important perspective: women’s development should go beyond training alone. Skills need to be connected with real job opportunities, better income and stronger family stability.

iBidan also shared the importance of building a more trusted, structured and data-driven care ecosystem, especially in the pregnancy and postpartum care sector. Through community networks, workplace channels, WBS platforms and a more organised approach, more women can be supported to access meaningful work opportunities and improve their income.

We deeply value WBS’s role as a bridge connecting policy, community and industry in strengthening Selangor’s growing Care Economy ecosystem.
